I really liked this game. Not sure what all the negative reviews where about.I would say "it is what it is" because of the nudity and obvious reason why I and everyone else bought it. But on it's own merit, it's really a good game. Not the longest game, but plenty of entertainment. The battles where actually challenging towards the end, most of the characters where charming and likable, exploration was definitely rewarded.. Thumbs up.I will say, the main character (the one you play as) is a\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 Perhaps a little more than a\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 But, considering hypergamy, he is exactly what he has to be for any of the girls liking him to make sense. I hate to say it, but if he was a nice guy, it would be immersion breaking. I died a little typing that. But it's the truth.Another note. I was hoping that there would be possible harem ending. There might be, but I'm having a hard time finding out. The process of earning love and obedience points from the girls is grueling (like real life, lol). If you spend your MP charming them, you get p0wned in fights. If you use your MP to survive the fights, the girls hate your guts. Items to serve as social lubricant are scarce at best. The formula for wooing them requires a doctorate in mathematics. (Not really, and devs - please don't stop using advanced metrics like this, they're wicked cool!) Really, about the only way to get one naked or get anywhere with them is to pick one for each play through, give her all the items and attention, and cross your fingers.Oh, and SAVE FREQUENTLY!! Like before entering EVERY room. You'll run over an event trigger or click on something and you'll be forced to make a choice that has no takesies backsies option. Also, *spoiler alert* don't waste precious resources on the girl with the biggest boobs in the beginning of the game. She dies. I about rage quit on her, lol.All in all, I give this game 9\/10. Graded on a curve for it being a TnA game and subtracted one point for making it so damn hard to get muh soft core pr0n! ;). He also built a new hangar, extended the runway, and added two additional landing pads for those of you who want to be like Elon. With the effort invested in the new launch site, we didn't want to take any chances so we integrated some invisible sound suppression systems[www.nasa.gov] to protect the launch pads from the considerable acoustic force. Okay, that's not really true. We just added some volumetric smoke that is a purely visual effect. However, that combined with William's new camera shake has really enhanced the launch experience and I noticed after launching my Pigeon Heavy rocket that my socks were nowhere to be seen.Has anyone seen my socks?. Explosions: When you are building rockets, you're most likely going to run into the occasional rapid unscheduled disassembly. It happens to even the most experienced rocket surgeons. You might as well embrace it and take advantage of the opportunity and snag some spectacular photos. In addition to the visuals, we also improved the physics of the explosions quite a bit. Now larger fuel tanks will create much larger explosions. We also approximate the surface area of parts and use that to determine how much it should react to an explosion. I've spent far too many hours now sitting on the launch pad blowing up parts before realizing that I had long ago crossed the line between working and playing. Re-Entry Effects: They said the Apollo 11 command module re-entered Earth's atmosphere at Mach 36 and temperatures of the air in front of the heat shield reached nearly 20,000° degrees Fahrenheit, which is well beyond the melting point of sanity. Today, I loaded up the latest build of SimpleRockets 2 with the new re-entry effects Philip and I have been working on and I hurtled my command pod at Smearth at nearly Mach 40. The new, resizable Heat Shield part is protecting the command pod and if you have really good eyes you can see in the lower left that it reaches over 13,000° Celsius. The command pod is mostly protected, though it does take some damage from the excessive heat. The G-forces from the deceleration (which I did not measure) would undoubtedly turn any person into a pancake of squishy. So, while I am way hotter than Apollo 11, my astronauts would be far more deader. It's a good thing we don't have any astronauts in SR2 yet.We're really excited about the new effects. Players have been asking for them for ages and we really struggled with how to tackle the visual effects. Philip did a great job with them and we're all really happy with how they turned out. We also reworked the drag model so we could monitor part temperatures. Amazingly, after implementing some thermodynamics equations discovered by really smart people, the model seemed to be about right without much tweaking. Of course, I'm sure when you all get your hands on it, you'll find all the hidden features (ie - bugs).. Update 1.0.2 (beta): Hello everyone,thank you for your valued suggestions, feedback and for your interest in our old fashioned point and click adventure game! :)Thanks to your help we figured out that a lot of random issues that some players are having are caused by the game engine itself. The version we used (Visionaire Studio v3.7) has some bugs that can't be addressed.So, what we did? We bought the license for the latest version of Visionaire Studio and we already updated and recompiled the game.Warning: this new version is still beta but if you had major problems playing the current 1.0.1 build of the game (crashes, invisible characters, crazy mouse, ...) you can already have access to the 1.0.2 version right now! It is also faster and much lighter.How? Very simple: Right click on "Eselmir and the five magical gifts" on your Steam library. Select "Properties". Select "v1.0.2" under the "Betas" tab.You can always switch back to the current 1.0.1 public version choosing "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs".Please take note that unfortunately the current savegames (1.0.1) don't work with the new version (1.0.2) and also that this is going to happen on every update.This update concerns only the PC version. Dev Notes - 2019.2.18: You may have noticed that things are quieter around here lately. We have shifted our focus over to SimplePlanes so we can finish the 1.8 update. We hope to finish it next month and then we'll return our focus to SR2 development.Before jumping over to SimplePlanes, Kevin and I made a lot of progress on the new procedural rocket engines. I'm really excited about them and I can't wait to start working on them again. We're trying to make them as flexible as possible to accommodate as much player feedback as we can. Here are some of the options we currently have:* Engine Type: Liquid, Solid, Nuclear (thermal), Ion* Power Cycles (Liquid only): Gas Generator, Staged, Pressure-Fed, Electric* Fuel Types: Kerolox, Hydrolox, Methalox, Solid, Liquid Hydrogen (nuclear thermal engine), Xenon (ion engine)There are also several nozzle options available. Most of them are fixed geometry, but there is a procedural cone style and a procedural bell style you can adjust to get the exact nozzle area ratio you want. This will allow you to optimize your engine for sea level, vacuum, or anywhere in between. We will also include an altitude-compensating toroidal aerospike nozzle.Also, Philip did a lot of work to improve support for building airplanes in SR2, including a new option to specify if you are building a rocket or an airplane.
